| Greetings Orchard Covenant Church Family, On Sunday, for those in attendance in person and online, we heard from Pastor Michael about the importance of God’s timing, and how we are called to wait with trust until God’s time is revealed. Have you ever felt like the vision God placed in your heart is taking too long, like the healing you’ve been praying for, the breakthrough in your family, the financial provision you need, or the answer you’ve been seeking will never come? Sometimes what we long for feels far away, yet God promises that every prayer, every hope, and every vision given has an appointed time for fulfillment. We were reminded about timing through the story of José Hernández, the son of migrant farm workers who dreamed of becoming an astronaut. He applied to NASA 12 times. Turned away 11 times, José chose to keep preparing, keep growing, and keep trusting until the 12th door finally opened. His perseverance demonstrated for us that waiting is a faithful season of preparation, where God continues to work in us. Habakkuk 2:3 says, “For the vision awaits an appointed time; though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay.” Waiting is never wasted when we do it with faith. In the waiting, God is forming us, equipping us, and getting us ready for what is next. As a church family, may we learn to wait with hope and expectation, trusting that God’s timing is always perfect and believing together that when the appointed time comes, the vision that God showed us will be fulfilled. Trusting God’s timing and God’s preparation as we persevere, |
